La Hogue

La Hogue was opened in October 2002.  It is a family owned farm shop run by Chris & Jo Reeks.  The shop is situated on the edge of the Chippenham Park Estate and is adjacent to A11, three miles north of Newmarket.

Why are we called La Hogue?

La Hogue Farm derives its name from a naval battle which took place off the shores of France where the British were victorious in the late 17^th Century.  The timbers from the battleships were used in the construction of some of the farm buildings and the main farmhouse at La Hogue Farm.
