La Hogue Lamb

The La Hogue flock was set up in 2010 by owner Chris Reeks. The base of the flock was started with Kent Romney ewes which extensively graze on the heath and marshland of the beautiful Euston Estate, near Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

The flock is managed on a high welfare, extensive system. The sheep graze on the natural heath and marshy grasses and are allowed to slowly mature producing superb tasting meat. In the autumn and winter some of the lambs graze on sugar beet tops giving the lamb an amazing flavour and texture.
