Our large delicatessen offers over 80 different cheeses. Three local
producers are represented:
- Farmhouse Fare, Friston, Saxmundham, Suffolk—Buxlow Paigle
- Suffolk Farmhouse Cheeses, Coddenham, Nr Ipswich—Suffolk Gold
Gouda
- Mrs Temple, Wighton, Norfolk—Binham Blue & Walsingham.
We also stock a wide range of traditional British cheeses including West
Country Cheddars, Colston Bassett Stilton from Nottinghamshire (one of
only two handrolled stiltons available in the UK), and other territorials.
In addition. there are a number of increasingly popular ewes and goats
milk cheeses.
In addition, we offer a comprehensive range of European cheeses including
Brie De Meaux, Manchego, Parmiggiano Reggiano and Vacherin Mont D’or
(when in season). One of our latest editions is Brebirousse D'Argental a lovely soft creamy ewes milk cheese from the Lyon region of France. |

Cooked hams, including our delicious home cooked honey roasted ham,
Parma ham, salamis and a variety of other antipasti are available and
our olive selection is one of the finest in the area. Our best sellers
at the moment are sun-dried tomato stuffed olives, Antipasti and Classic
olives.
Essex Larders ready to eat savoury pies (handmade using local free range
meats) are very popular. These include Chicken & Ham, Royal Game,
Duck & Orange, Pork & Stilton and Bacon, Brie & Cranberry.
We always stock these as individual pies, but 4 portion and 12 portion
pies can be ordered.
Liz Serjeant (who holds a Diploma, with Distinction from the
United Kingdom Cheese Guild) together with our highly trained and experienced
deli team are always on hand to answer any questions you may have.
Orders can be placed at any time of the year. |
