CHRISTMAS FARE

Christmas at La Hogue is a truly magical experience.  Stocked with the finest Christmas foods & treats you will find everything you need for your Christmas preparations.  From mince pies and home made Christmas puddings to delicious local jams & chutneys and smoked salmon.

We will be taking orders for our Christmas poultry and other Christmas goods from Saturday 1st November 2008.  Order early to avoid disappointment. 

We believe we have everything you need for Christmas in one location with ample free parking and knowledgeable staff who genuinely want you to enjoy your shopping experience and who will be ready to help and advise you.

Turkeys

This year our turkeys are being reared on two local farms.  The free range Norfolk Bronze and Black turkeys are being reared by the highly renowned Garner family at Godwick Farm, Tittleshall, Norfolk.  We have inspected the farm and can confirm that they are reared under the highest welfare standards and are allowed to mature naturally outside for up to 27 weeks of age.

Our traditionally reared Cambridgeshire White Turkeys will be coming from the Stevens family farm near Haverhill, Cambridgeshire.  Again we have visited the farm and can confirm that these also are reared to the highest standards.

Geese

Once again our fantastic free range geese will be coming from the Munns family at Chatteris whose reputation has grown to them being one of the best and most environmentally friendly geese producers in East Anglia.  They also supply our goose fat for yummy roast potatoes!
